In response to the forced contribution article on till’s blog, I can only say the following:-

The GPL does not force you to do anything, its like saying that Catholicism makes you go to Mass on Sunday. You only need to go to Mass on Sunday if you decide to join the Catholic faith, and there isn’t a person on this planet that can force you to do that.

So if you don’t like the GPL forcing you to share your code then don’t join the GPL faith by using GPL’d code. Its really that simple.
